I had bariatric surgery on June 20, 2003 at Underwood Memorial Hospital. Dr. Yves Manigat was my surgeon. I am very pleased with his expertise and treatment.

This procedure has literally changed my life. After 35 years of dieting, I have now lost more than 100 pounds and am still losing 7 months later. I have so much more energy and am doing things I haven't been able to do in years! My mental and emotional outlook has been energized as well and I feel I have a new lease on life!

Dr. Manigat and his staff are professional and caring and have helped me tremendously as I've recovered from my surgery and met the challenges of post-bypass life. I will be forever grateful to them!

I had my surgery on September 24, 2003. Since my surgery I have lost 60lbs and I feel like a new person and I look like a new person. At first it was hard but I just kept telling myself that the positives out weighed the negatives and I kept going.

I cannot believe physically how I have changed. I would recommend this in a second and I have. The hardest thing for me has been buying clothes and outgrowing them right away. Not a bad problem to have. My family calls me string bean and co-workers refer to me as "Skinny". I have never ever in my life been called that.

I am thrilled with my decision and I am thankful for Dr. Manigat.
